Misty has been with King Industrial Realty for over 25 years. Misty began as an administrative assistant to several of the top producers for the company in 1998 and has since ascended the ranks to become the firm’s Contract Director since November 2024. Shortly after joining King Industrial Misty earned her salesperson real estate license and two short years later earned her Brokers license.
After showing interest in taking on additional responsibilities, she became the executive assistant to Charles B. King. From there she was promoted to management and was tasked with developing a plan and overseeing that plan for the opening of the first two community offices for King Industrial Realty and is currently responsible for both their daily operations.
As Manager for King Industrial’s Northeast and Loganville Offices, Misty not only has a supervisor roll, she has and continues to develop and improve workflow processes and procedures not only for her offices, but for the entire company to assist in the everchanging needs of the company to maximize agent and client fulfillment. Misty has and continues to work directly with the agents on a daily basis to assist them not only in marketing their listings, but also in preparing listing, lease and sale agreements, providing insight on business terms that are fair for both sides of the table.
From 2013 to 2022, in addition to a management role, she temporarily took over the role of Accounting Department Manager where she oversaw and processed the bookkeeping functions for the entire firm and processing all incoming transactions for payment. Between late 2022 and 2023 she worked directly with an independent accounting consultant hired by the company to restructure and expand the Accounting Department and has successfully mentored and trained the accounting staff to fulfill the bookkeeping functions. Misty continues to work closely with the Accounting Department for their continuous development.
Misty began her experience through various positions with small to large corporations. She has worked directly with a multi-state industrial waste management company coordinating requests for proposals and scheduling multiple in and out of state trucking companies to facilitate the owners’ time sensitive needs. She has also worked in the new car business, coordinating multi-state vehicle transfers, including processing and scheduling inventory delivery and pick up of vehicles.
